Thanks to everyone who gathered at The Hearth on Sunday night. It was a great night -- truly the start of something that has been kicking around my head for months. Great food, interesting conversations and a book that will make us think. The Reason for God is available on amazon or at the Logos Bookstore (85th and 3rd Ave. NW) for $12. We'll talk about the introduction and first chapter next time.
We'll continue to meet at Thrive Restaurant (1026 NE 65th St.), but this time at 7:30, a nod to those of you who need their beauty sleep. We should be done around 9:15. In January, we can consider again the pros/cons of meeting in homes. I like the consistency of meeting at Thrive and not putting pressure on one person to host or to cook for 10-15 folks. Plus, they let us bring in wine!
We're definitely off to a great start, to invite your friends, neighbors, etc. and we'll see you on September 27.

The Hearth
The Hearth: a warm gathering of good people who will become good friends discussing topics of great significance.
We plan to gather every other Sunday night at 7:30 p.m. at Thrive Restaurant (1026 NE 65th St).
